Bear Den Schedule

The Pack 250 Bear Den has a lot of activities and outings planned for the coming year, from camp-outs to City Hall. Here’s what you need to know…

Den Meetings: Our first Bear Den meeting will be Sunday, October 6th, at 3pm at the Bright School. We’ll be talking about the upcoming camp-out and Pumpkinfest (October 19th), and practice putting up tents. After that, we’ll have meetings on 11/10 and 12/8, then the first Sunday of the month as we move into 2020. On 11/10, Scouts will be earning their Whittling Chip and learning to use pocketknives safely!

Pack Meetings: The next Pack Meeting is our camp-out at Base Camp on Saturday October 19th! Scouts can attend Pumpkinfest, the campout, or both – register at  https://scoutspirit.doubleknot.com/event/pumpkin-fest-2019/2535797 for Pumpkinfest and at https://squareup.com/store/bsa-pack-250/item/pack-overnight for the camp-out!

Outings:  We’ve got a lot planned this year! Signups for the Ecotarium Overnight (January 11th) are already available at https://squareup.com/store/bsa-pack-250, and we’re planning more field trips and excursions. Save the date for the May camp-out (May 16th), and possibly a tour of City Hall the evening of Feb. 10th!

Popcorn Sales: You should have received a Trail’s End popcorn fundraiser sheet in the mail from Pack 250 and Scouts can earn a Popcorn patch and a chance at the prize table by selling popcorn to friends and family. We’re doing individual sales this year instead of group sales!

Registering / Scoutbook: Have you registered at my.scouting.org and at pack250.com/join? You can pay dues at our Square site, https://squareup.com/store/bsa-pack-250.   Please update your Scoutbook profile – especially with emails and phone numbers! – so that we can keep in touch with families.
